We are building a rear projection touchscreen hardware/software setup for an art installation. Our group consists of three people: media artist Heidi Tikka, architect Jaakko Pesonen and myself. I will post updates on the stages of the project in this thread.
CheckLikes is an iPhone Air application that can be used to get Facebook data about any URL address through a FQL http query.
Here’s a small example Flash file for getting the number of likes, shares and mentions of any Url from Facebook, using a FQL http query.
We developed this experimental tool in Crucible Studio for controlling multiple projection screens. The system was developed for an opera set design.
