Free lens macro photography
I tried taking some free lens macro photos. I used a 52mm solid lens that I held backwards in front of my Nikon D7000.
The 52mm lens gives a decent amount of magnification and it’s conveniently light for free lensing. The luminance of the photos becomes significantly darker with the lens on backwards, so using a flash is almost a must. The depth of field also becomes very shallow, so using a small aperture takes away some of the light as well. It takes a lot of trial and error, I’ll have to keep practicing this.
